The International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world and has assumed a global dimension in regards to women’s rights. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements regardless of their national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political belonging.
We are proud of the ladies, who are part of our company and we would like to show 5 of them with whom we did short blitz interviews.

Tsvetlina Angelova-Taneva | QA Specialist
If every role you play in your life is a hat, how many and what kind of hats are you currently wearing? I can`t tell exactly a number. Being a mom-of-two for almost 5 years is my major role. But it means that I am also a Master Chef, a Mathematics and Foreign Languages teacher, a Counselor and Anger Management Specialist, a Personal Shopper, a Hairstylist, a Birthday Party Planner, an Art Critic, a Spiritual Leader, a Doctor… And meanwhile, I am a full-time QA professional. In general, I`d say I`m a “household engineer”.
The three things that have helped you balancing your roles are: My secret weapon – the ZET squad. It`s a small, but extremely effective unit for a rapid reaction in case of emergency. It consists of 1 grandfather and 2 grandmothers. If I am looking for some IDs or I have lost my Primary Keys so that I have to stay a little later at the office, I can always count on them.
The woman in the IT field is: like any other woman on Earth. She`s smart, honest, kind, helpful, devoted… The office usually is her second home and the co-workers are her second family.
The three things that fuel your day are: My kids, a bunch of positive people around and a cup of strong coffee.
What’s in your bag right now? You’d better not ask.
What would be your alternative profession if you were not what you are now? I have always wanted to become a writer or a teacher.
If I were to write a book, it would be a survival handbook. Something like “How to survive as an IT”.

If every role you play in your life is a hat, how many and what kind of hats are you currently wearing? In my life I have three role hats. My mission is to wear each one of them during a specific part of the day.
Hat 1: role of a mother. This is the most important role for each woman, which has decided to become a parent. A mother needs to be not only tender and loving, but also a good teacher.
Hat 2: role of an Adastran. I’ve been working for Adastra Bulgaria for almost 10 years and can bravely title the company as my second family.
Hat 3: the freedom role. When I am wearing this hat, I am usually with my husband or alone, practicing different physical activities, travelling, exploring, reading, or just relaxing. Thank you, dear grandmothers!
The three things that have helped you balancing your roles are: Personality – I consider myself as an organized and active person. I think that this is the main thing, which is helping me with the work-life balance. Husband – I am lucky to have a supportive husband, who understands the importance of having private space when I am working. Sport – the sport makes me happy and productive.
The three things that fuel your day are: Coffee and breakfast, a strong hug from my daughter and physical activity.
The woman in the IT field/world is: …just a regular IT specialist, who likes wearing dresses. 😊
What’s in your bag right now? I will surprise you – purse, keys, mobile phone.
What would be your alternative profession if you were not what you are now? Probably a teacher. I’ve always loved explaining different kind of things and find really challenging the situations when it is hard for someone to understand the teaching material.
Do you have anything else to share? Happy International Women’s Day to all of my female colleagues. Wish you strength and happiness, a lot of professional success and enjoyable life.
